With the box-office success of Paper Towns, Cara Delevingne may have completed her transition from catwalk queen to leading lady, but she’s far from the only model to have made the jump to the big screen. While Delevingne and fellow model-actresses like Emily Ratajkowski and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have garnered the majority of the attention, several other fashion models have steadily been making the switch. Get to know four of the models who will be making their presence felt on-screen this year.

Kiko Mizuhara

When she isn’t modeling for Moschino or Maison Kitsuné, Kiko Mizuhara is building her filmography with a mix of independent fare and summer blockbusters. Already a celebrity in Asia, Mizuhara made her film debut in 2010’s Haruki Murakami adaptation, Norwegian Wood. 2015 sees her starring in the live-action version of the popular anime Attack on Titan.

The Marvel vs. DC Comics battle may rage on the Internet, but model Tao Okamoto has earned a place for herself in both universes. Okamoto’s first role was playing the female lead opposite Hugh Jackman in 2013’s The Wolverine, and her next—as Mercy Graves in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice—places her alongside two other fanboy favorites.

Margaret Qualley

As the daughter of Andie MacDowell, Margaret Qualley is a second-generation model-actress. Making her runway debut at Chanel’s India-themed 2012 Pre-Fall show, Qualley went on to grace the catwalk for Alberta Ferretti and Valentino before heading to London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since then, Qualley has emerged as one of the stars of HBO’s hit series The Leftovers and garnered a part opposite Ryan Gosling in director Shane Black’s upcoming thriller, The Nice Guys.

Abbey Lee

At the height of her modeling career, Abbey Lee worked with nearly every fashion label in existence. The face of Gucci, Saint Laurent, Versace, and more, Lee was a force to be reckoned with. Her acting career is shaping up to be just as formidable: After making her feature debut in Mad Max: Fury Road with Tom Hardy and fellow model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lee went on to snag the lead in Nicolas Winding Refn’s hotly anticipated The Neon Demon.
