She recently fired back at a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed against The Honest Company that claimed her products were ineffective and unnatural.
But Jessica Alba took her mind off of the legal drama when she spent some quality time with her daughter Haven on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old and her little girl donned coordinating floppy hats when they jetted into New York in style.

Once again, Jessica nailed a bohemian-chic ensemble that consisted of a charcoal scarf and flashy gold-tint sunglasses.
She teamed the accessories with an deep grey maxi skirt that threatened to hide her chunky platform sandals, elevating her 5ft7in.
Highlighting her glowing sun-kissed complexion was a glossy touch of pink lipstick and a peachy hue of blush.

Ever the doting mother, Jessica gently carried her youngest child against her hip.
In addition to her summery straw hat, Haven wore a black-and-white striped dress and suede ankle boots that strapped around her calves.
She clutched a pink toy cell phone, which she playfully opened as her mother strolled through the transport hub.
Recently, Jessica hit back at claims in a lawsuit which has been filed against her multi-million dollar The Honest Company, saying they are ‘baseless and without merit.’
The business has been accused of manufacturing products which are ineffective, as well as being marketed as nontoxic and natural, when in actual fact they do contain unnatural ingredients.
She responded on Friday to the class action, and in a statement told abc news: ‘We strongly stand behind our products and the responsibility we have to our consumers. We are steadfast in our commitment to transparency and openness.’
The response, which was given by a representative for Alba, added the allegations were ‘baseless and without merit.’
The class action was filed against The Honest Company, which makes an array of baby products including nappies to sunscreen, as well as household cleaners on Thursday.
John D. Rubin claimed Honest actually sells items that contain unnatural ingredients, as well as other products which are ineffective.
Rubin was asking for reimbursement as he claimed customers were paying over and above the cost of other ‘comparable products that did not purport to be natural.’
However the statement made on behalf of the company and Alba said they were standing behind their ‘Honest’ policy when it came to what went into their goods: ‘We believe that consumers deserve to know what’s in their products – whether it’s diapers for their children, cleaning products for their families or beauty products for themselves.
‘Our formulations are made with integrity and strict standards of safety, and we label each ingredient that goes into every product – not because we have to, but because it’s the right thing to do.’
In the suit, according to Law360, it was claimed Honest’s hand soap, dish soap, diapers and multi-surface cleaner contained unnatural ingredients.
And it went on to say the company’s sunscreen was ineffective, prompting customers to complain online about sunburn and blistering after using it.
Alba, and her co-founder Christopher Gavigan, did previously acknowledge there were some issues with the sunscreen in August.
It was announced they had reformulated it to improve the duration of its water resistance.
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that yet another lawsuit had been filed against The Honest Company, which also involved the SPF 30 sunscreen.
According to the website, the class action lawsuit, which is requesting at least $5 million, claims that over half of the product’s zinc oxide was taken out when the product was reformulated in March.
The ingredient shields skin from UV rays.
In spite of the changes, the website adds that the product was still marketed at SPF 30, and the lawsuit claims that as a result, users were left sunburnt.
