PEPSICO: Reorder of global management

PepsiCo announced a series of changes in management, including the departure of global categories and operations, chief Enderson Guimaraes.

The company owns the brands Lay’s and Quaker added the CFO Hugh Johnston additional duties of vice chairman, and created a food and beverage unit for Latin America. Additionally, two executives, Brian Newman and Eugene Willemsen will take responsibility for “several areas” covering the Guimaraes.

Specifically, senior vice president and general manager of global e-commerce, Brian Newman, was appointed executive vice president, global operations, while the president of the unit Lipton, Eugene Willemsen, additionally assumes the role of executive vice president, global categories and franchise management.

In other business changes, the sub-Saharan part belonged to the Asian region, the Middle East and Africa of PepsiCo, will move to the European region, which will be renamed Europe Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA). At the same time, that of Asia, Middle East and Africa renamed Asia, Middle East and North Africa (AMENA). At personal level, Ramon Laguarta will continue as CEO of ESSA and Sanjeev Chadha will be the CEO of AMENA.
