McDonald’s: Aid to marketing and communication

The McDonald’s announced two key appointments that will help the brand become more progressive. Specifically, Silvia Lagnado chosen to become EVP and global chief marketing officer, coming from Bacardi, while Robert Gibbs, who was in the White House Press Office, undertakes tasks evp and global chief communications officer.

Lagnado will undertake the global management of the brand, including global marketing, the menu and consumer insights. At the same time, Gibbs will “run” partnerships of the group, managed internal and external communications, as well as intergovernmental and public relations. Head of both will be the president and CEO of McDonald’s, Steve Easterbrook.
